Garden Vegetable & Herb Dip

Sharing is caring!

Springtime is the perfect time to refresh! Breathe in the scents of green grass, blooming daffodils, and the dreams of a future garden bounty. With spring also comes the joy of celebrating Easter with our loved ones.

This Easter, let’s embrace the season by swapping out rich drinks and heavy appetizers for something light and refreshing. That’s why I created this Garden Vegetable & Herb Dip, a simple yet delicious appetizer that pairs beautifully with a colorful crudités platter.

A crudités platter is simply an array of fresh, seasonal vegetables—a perfect complement to this dip and a welcome addition to your Easter table.

My Garden Vegetable & Herb Dip is both delightful and delicious. Once you whip this up in just minutes, you’ll never go back to packaged vegetable dip mixes again!

Why choose store-bought options filled with sugar, sulfites, and chemicals when you can use fresh, wholesome ingredients that take mere minutes to prepare?

A Simple and Flavorful Homemade Dip

To make this dip, you’ll need equal parts Hellmann’s mayonnaise and sour cream. From there, just add a touch of sea salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder for seasoning.

The real magic comes from the fresh ingredients:

  • Minced parsley and dill for bright, herby flavor
  • Fresh garlic for a touch of boldness
  • Chopped scallions for mild oniony goodness
  • Finely diced red bell pepper for a pop of sweetness and color
  • A squeeze of fresh lemon juice to bring it all together

The result? A creamy, tangy, herb-packed dip that tastes just like the classic store-bought version—but so much better because it’s homemade!

Easy to Make, Even Easier to Enjoy

This dip comes together in just a few simple steps:

  1. Mix the Base – Combine the mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl.
  2. Add the Flavor – Stir in all the herbs, seasonings, and chopped vegetables.
  3. Let It Chill – Allow the dip to sit in the fridge for at least an hour (or overnight) to let the flavors meld.
  4. Serve & Enjoy – Pair it with a vibrant crudités platter featuring your favorite fresh vegetables.
